The founder of YELLO and regarded as one of the foremost electronic composers in the world. Based in Zurich, his approach to music production is extraordinary. Using a vast sample library that he builds himself, Boris assembles a sonic picture for each composition that defies genre, often delivered with a dry sense of humour. Titles like ‘The Race’ ‘I Love You’ and ‘Oh Yeah’ (from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) are part of the global furniture now. Boris has also built a successful music app called Yellofier with over 150,000 downloads to date. Yello’s last album ‘TOY’ in 2016 was their most successful in two decades reaching #2 in Germany.
